Glass-walled garden folie

In snowy woods, I came upon a deserted garden pavilion. Just around the bend, I found another, both looking lost and lonely, as though warm weather and visitors would never come…

Much as I wish there were woods nearby to walk in on a beautiful day like this one, no such thing for me. But the sight of my patio trinkets in the snow gave rise to my mental meandering.

You’ve already met my diminutive glass-walled garden folie, like the ones in old European gardens. The rusted wrought iron one with the deer brings to mind a rustic camp-style Adirondack cottage.

Or so it seems to me, on a snow day, with visions of frozen forests in my head.

Stay warm…Tatie
